Privacy

Last updated: 17 July 2026.

Maxuru is a static documentation site. It is built as plain HTML and served from a content delivery network. This page describes, accurately, what that means for your privacy — which is to say, very little happens.

Nothing. The site has no accounts, no login, no forms, no newsletter, and no comment system. There is no mechanism on this site through which you could give us personal information, and none is requested.

The site sets no cookies of its own and includes no third-party analytics or tracking scripts.

Your browser stores one thing locally, and only if you use it: the interactive hardening checklists remember which items you’ve ticked, using your browser’s localStorage. That data stays in your browser, on your device. It is never sent to us or to anyone else, and clearing your browser storage removes it.

There is no advertising on this site. We do not run ads, and there are no advertising or ad-tracking scripts of any kind.

The site is delivered through Cloudflare, our content delivery network and host. As with any website, delivering a page requires processing basic connection information — such as your IP address — to route and secure the request. Cloudflare processes this on our behalf as part of serving the site and protecting it from abuse, under Cloudflare’s own privacy terms. We do not receive, store, or have access to individual visitor identities from this.

Because the site collects no personal data and operates no database of visitors, there is nothing for us to look up, export, correct, or delete. If that changes — for example, if we later add analytics or advertising — this page will be updated to describe it before it takes effect.

If the site’s data practices change, this page is updated and the “last updated” date above changes with it.
